About Sean McAngus

I grew up in Macduff – a town in Aberdeenshire (It’s not in Aberdeen, before you ask..)

My first taste of writing came in 2013 when I began football reporting voluntarily for the Highland League Hub.

In the last few years I have interviewed many well-known sports people in Scotland such as former Rangers player Barry Ferguson, former Celtic player Bobby Petta and former Manchester United player Steve Paterson.

I have covered football games from the Highland League to the Scottish League One. I have written for a variety of newspapers including Scottish Sun, Sunday Mail, Press and Journal and Daily Record.

I have a popular blog called the Scottish Fitba Base about Scottish Highland Football League. This blog has gained a passionate international audience.

I have recently finished a HND Practical Journalism course at Glasgow Clyde College and on the lookout for jobs in the industry. I have built up a network of contacts and want to tell the untold stories.

So drop me an email seanmcangus@gmail.com if you want to grab a coffee and connect.
